About
tinkerish.com features making things with microcontrollers and electronics. Ranging from DIY projects to tutorials, this site shares experiences, schematics, and source code.
I’m Mike. I am an electrical and computer engineer. By day, I manage a group of engineers who develop Linux based systems and add in cards. By night, I try to serve God and be the best dad I can. I also love to play with Linux, embedded electronics, and code. Here I chronicle my adventures.
Once upon a time, curious folks tinkered with homebrew computers, radios, and the like in their spare time. Since the advent of the personal computer, spare time has consumed those same curious minds with programing, the Internet, facebook, etc. Now that personal computers have become a commodity, I see a resurgence of the “back to the basics” type of exploration. This website features my own tour as I interface to, play with, and “tinker” with the things that I use everyday and have taken for granted.
